TABC Permits
The Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission (TABC) requires that alcohol retailers have a valid TABC permit or license in order to sell alcohol. A permit or license can be obtained only through the TABC.
Server Certification
It is recommended by the TABC (but not required) for servers to take an alcohol server certification course. This would require training in Responsible Serving® of Alcohol course.
